Law Enforcement Training Courses

Defensive Tactics/SPEAR:
This course is designed to refresh the officers skills in Defensive Tactics. This course will include many strikes, elbow, knee and hand techniques, along with a Defensive Tactics Technique called SPEAR. This tactic was invented by Tony Blauer who is a leading authority on defensive tactics and martial arts. Officers will see how reaction can be just as fast if not faster than action.  This method trains officers for that close encounter, how to quickly and effectively disable the threat in 6 quick percise movements. Officers will also be introduced to a more intense ground fighting session and handgun retention techniques.  Officers should wear duty gear, comfortable clothing, sneakers, bring water bottles and a towel.  Officers are asked not to bring any live ammunition to class! This is a physically demanding class that requires attention to detail.  We offer realistic training for Law Enforcement officers to give them the edge in our every changing and often violent society.  Motivation is a must, this is a very intense course!
Cost for this class is $100.00, Group rate for 5 or more is $75.00 per person.

Chemical Spray/O.C.:
This course is a refresher for officers who already carry O.C. or for the new officer who needs to be certified.  We concentrate on warding off an attack and getting the subject under control with minimal damage to the officer and the subject. Officers will become familiar with the differences in sprays and the effects of each.  Officers will be required to draw and engage a target, subdue a resisting subject or use defensive tactics.  Officers will be shown early warning signs of an attack; taught how to read body language etc.  Officers will also learn the physical and mental effects chemical sprays can have on a person.  There is an exposure portion to this class; however it is not mandatory that officers be sprayed, it is strongly recommended.  Officers should wear comfortable clothing, sneakers, change of shirt and towel.  Fresh water for de-contamination will be provided.
Cost for this class is $50.00
